I’m in a zen mood today, and I’m thinking about the most important lessons that I’ve learned in my career so far. Most lessons that matter sound like common sense, but in practice are profoundly complicated. Although I have a ton more to learn, I bet this lesson will never fall out of my top 3.
The Most Important Lesson I’ve Learned Is: Big Rocks First.
Whether or not this is a good iPhone game, the promo has sold me.
Montell Jordan - This Is How We Do It
The best part of this song has to be this line:
It feels so good in my hood tonight
All the summertime skirts and the guys in Kani
All the gang bangers forgot about the drive-by.
As in, forgot about the DRIVE-BY SHOOTING.
So, this is amazing for one of two reasons:
1. The party that Montell Jordan is rapping about is so good that a vicious gang is having SO much fun that they totally don’t remember that they’re supposed to go commit a murder.
Example:
GANG MEMBER 1: Hey, man, weren’t we supposed to murder someone tonight?
GANG MEMBER 2: Oh, wow! Ha, It totally slipped my mind! I guess there’s not much time to think about about gunning down a rival gang member when we’re so busy on the SLIP-N-SLIDE!!!!!
or
2. The party is great enough that a gang who came straight from watching their friend and fellow gang member get gunned down in cold blood has completely forgotten about the tragic events of earlier in the day, and are now having the time of their lives.
GANG MEMBER 1: Hey man, do you miss Mike at all?
GANG MEMBER 2: Mike who? Dude, they’ve got a Ms. Pac Man machine in the basement!

In 2010, Hasbro is taking Star Wars fans back to “a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away” with 28 Star Wars 3.75 inch VINTAGE ACTION FIGURES. The selection includes all-time favorite characters from throughout the six-film Saga, such as LUKE SKYWALKER, 4-LOM, DENGAR and HAN SOLO. Each of the figures in this assortment will feature the exceptionally accurate design and superb articulation customary to Hasbro’s action figures, and they will be offered in packaging reminiscent to that of the original 1978-1984 Star Wars packaging!
Additionally fans are also encouraged to collect five of the marked figures in the new vintage lineup to send away for their very own “Rocket Firing” BOBA FETT action figure, identically styled after the 1980 mail-away figure.

Along with the awesome new ATAT, the BOBA FETT HELMET and the FLYING REMOTE CONTROLLED MILLENNIUM FALCON, I think I might have to buy some Star Wars toys this year (via Laughingsquid)

I really hope that the new magical apple tablet will allow me to open calendar invites on my iPhone, considering Apple championed the open calendar format.
I had a conference call today where I made a joke about this movie. The young art directors needed an explanation as to what the movie was. sigh.
I remember the graphics being awesome when this came out. This is a total joke that you could put together with Canvas now.
